  • Large impact on the 3C's: Character, camera, and controls​

  • Introduced the foundation of more complex enemy AI

  • Implemented replayability features such as a costume select system


Technical Highlights

  • Established a robust Finite State Machine  that allow for clear and modular control of enemy AI which became the foundation of several boss character behaviors and several obstacle enemies.

  • Implemented and ray-based aerial pathfinding system that became several notable explosive enemies.

  • Rebuilt a ship controller which improved ship responsiveness and maneuverability by a large margin.
